NEW NORMAL

Oh dear! Oh dear!

Dawn yet to come,

Empty park seats and roads 

await sunrise

Sparrows are chattering

inviting the sun 

Oh dear! grass so tall

Wondering where goes the cow

No graze for so many days…

Bright sun creeps over the block

Dew pull the grasses down

Drenched my shoes in a hurry

Climate so cool 

Yet I am alone in the park

There I see a jogger 

Oh dear! oh dear! 

Sky so clean

still he don a mask

is it a known face and stranger 

it looks alike and freak

handshakes are questionable 

he wave hands to me!

He run pass me

Oh dear! Oh dear!

Its my old partner in the park.

How strange human become 

untouchable and Water can and sanitzer

Now become my new partner in the park. 

when I forget to don mask

people look! as I am naked!!

If I sneeze in a park

People see me as a bomber!

Its New normal for me here

        Amma Pinch me once , she know it will not pain ...she knows i will cry...she know she will cry...she know i will follow whatever she say...since this is one and the last pinch that i earned from my sweet Amma.... Amma is very fearsome when walking towards the person who took the chit money from her and never pay the due afterwards....after seeing her the first thing comes out from the person is Akka i will pay you in two days akka...one payment have to come from other side i will return yours akka...sari Kanna is my Amma’s answer.Even after few years i never see her change.... Adhu ennavo avan neram....aani poi aavani vantha ellam sariayidum than solluvanga....
